Leslie Scott, Certified Life Coach

I AM Life, Health & Wellness, a coach and consummate educator.  That said, I am from Sacramento, California, and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Pshchology from California State University Sacramento.  I relocated to Charlotte, NC, and have not been disappointed, Charlotte has amazing historical value.  As far back as I can remember learning about historical events has been a desire of mines, particularly Black history.  Equally Important, it would be unauthentic for me not to express my concerns for the well-being of African Americans self-care and mental health as a priority.


I AM  ambitious and understand my God given entitlement to happiness, this has become my mantra, teaching it especially to our children.  The law of humanity, supports serving my fellow man, meeting them where they are.  Having always engaged in education, it is mandatory for me to help African American children cope and navigate through a system where change is constant.  


I AM a subscriber of Victory Over Adversity, mingling mind, body and spirit forming an entente; informal allegiance with understanding that is unspoken.  I continue to research current social issues, education, and governing systems from historical lenses.

Health and Wellness is a choice, a decision you make.  Achieving a balanced life is personal, a unique process for each individual.  Ideally, with my support you will identify aspects of your life which were previously neglected or dormant, present not visible, potential but not evident or active.  You will attain a greater sense of self-appreciation, naturally understanding that health and happiness are possible in every moment.  To get started here are some important considerations; now take a slow inhalation, exhalation, and let's get moving!

  1. It is an exciting moment when you make the decision to do better for yourself,  you are committed, and ready to take action.  
  2. It is important to be mindful.  In doing so you will identify triggers; prevent self-sabotage; self-loathing, and learn to embrace positive self-talk.
  3. As you strive to perfect your imperfections, the process can go several directions.  Mental imagery, visualizing your desired image creates a metaphysical image which is prime for inspiration.  Mental imagery is a powerful tool to help you visualize the big picture; fine details, and nuances which are not so obvious. 
  4. Strategic goal-setting helps you stay directed, and is the most important aspect in shaping and accompishing your goals. 

Here is what you can expect during a  15-30 minute conversation.  

    As your coach, I am able to help you develop a care plan that can include: nutrition, mind/body, physical activity, spiritual acuity, meditation, and stress management.   

Through telephonic coaching we will have rich conversations, to ensure development of a trusting relationship.  Also, I will help you set strategic goals, and next steps toward achieving them.
